KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 (Bernama)--TS Global Network Sdn Bhd (TSGN) plans to double its regional sales to 20 per cent by 2020 with an investment of RM250 million in ground and space assets. TSGN is Malaysia's satellite communication (SATCOM) services and solutions specialist. The company will scale up its capacity and competitiveness with the signing of a collaborative agreement with Hong Kong's APT Satellite Company Ltd in a designated payload (transponder capacity) on APT's APSTAR 9 Satellite. "We are cognisant of the financial and regulatory hurdles and demands in pursuing a bold approach to ramping up our regional growth and have adopted a red ocean strategy to map out our journey," TSGN group managing director T. Dhrmarajah Dhashna said in a statement today.

[Via Satellite 05-19-2015] TS Global Network (TSGN), a top Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) connectivity provider in Malaysia, has entered an agreement with APT Satellite Company Limited to invest in a designated payload on the operator’s Apstar 9 satellite, which is slated to launch in the fourth quarter of 2015. The payload, dubbed MySat 1, will provide C-band transponder capacity for the Association of South East Asian Nations(ASEAN) and Asia-Pacific markets.
